Plagiarism Policy

Every manuscript submitted to Tadulako International Journal of Applied Management (TaJAM) must be free from content that contains plagiarism. Authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to check for content similarity. Editors detect plagiarism in articles submitted to TaJAM by using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin). The maximum limit for plagiarism in accordance with the provisions of Ristekdikti is 30%.

The Editorial Team of Tadulako International Journal of Applied Management (TaJAM) recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable. This condition establishes a policy of specific actions (penalties) if plagiarism is identified and indicated in an article submitted for publication in the TaJAM Journal.

Definition:
Plagiarism is the act of intentionally or unintentionally obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or marks for a scientific work, by quoting part or all of the work and/or scientific work of others recognized as their scientific work, without properly and adequately acknowledging the source.

Here are some of the things that are included in the act of plagiarism: Submitting articles by others without a reference; Paraphrasing without stating clear sources; and Using ideas, theories, data, or information without including clear sources.

If plagiarism is identified, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve action according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following guidelines:

Level of Plagiarism and Sanctions:

Plagiarizing a short sentence from another article without citing the source. Action: The author is given a warning and a request to change the text and cite correctly.
Plagiarizing a large part of another article without proper citation and not mentioning the source. Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in the TaJAM journal and the author may be penalized for not being allowed to publish Tadulako International Journal of Applied Management (TaJAM).
All authors of articles are responsible for the content of the articles they submit because they all sign the Tadulako International Journal of Applied Management (TaJAM) Publication Ethics Statement Form which will be given when the manuscript is declared accepted. If the article is classified as plagiarism, then all authors will be subject to the same action.

If the author is proven to submit a manuscript to the Tadulako International Journal of Applied Management (TaJAM) by simultaneously submitting it to another journal, and this overlap is found during the reviewer process or after publication, then action will be taken according to point 2 above.

Authors who submit their articles for publication in TaJAM Journal must absolutely guarantee that the manuscript is free from these things. If there is evidence of plagiarism in the article, the author must be willing to accept sanctions in accordance with the law and TaJAM Journal has the right to take sanctions according to the editorial team's policy.
